John Sorlie has been a member of Bryant Lovlien & Jarvis since 1995. He practices in the areas of business and real estate transactions, estate planning, trust administration and probate.
John is a member of the business, taxation and estate planning sections of the Oregon State Bar Association and is also a member of the Business and Real Property, Probate and Trust sections of the American Bar Association. He serves on the board of directors of Economic Development for Central Oregon, and was formerly a board member of the Bend Park and Recreation Foundation. He also previously served as the President of the board of the Cascade Cycling Classic.
John is a graduate of Carleton College in Minnesota where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology. He received his law degree from Lewis and Clark, Northwestern School of Law in Portland, and also attended Northwestern University's School of Law in Chicago. Outside the office, John enjoys biking, skiing and travel. John and his wife, Nancy, have three children.
