Melinda Thomas joined the litigation team at Bryant Lovlien & Jarvis in 2008, after having run her own firm, Thomas Law, in Bend. She maintains a broad civil litigation practice. Melinda is active in the Central Oregon community. She is a founding board member, secretary, and chair of board development for the Hayden Giving Fund, which serves affordable housing needs throughout the Northwest. Melinda has also served on board of the High Lakes Elementary School PTA. She is a member of the Litigation, Business Litigation, and Debtor/Creditor sections of the Oregon State Bar, and is a member of the American Bar Association and Oregon Women Lawyers. Melinda is also an active member of Compass Church in Bend, serving as the director of its annual marriage retreat. Melinda received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science at Oregon State University in 1989, and her law degree from the University of Kansas in 1993. Melinda and her husband, Robb Thomas, have three children, Cole, Alexa, and Brandon.
