Melissa Lande, a native of Washington D.C., practices estate planning, probate and elder law. In 1991, she began her practice in Bend as a Deputy District Attorney for Deschutes County. She joined Bryant Lovlien and Jarvis in 1996 and became a partner in 2001.

Melissa provides comprehensive financial and estate plans that minimize adverse tax consequences for individuals, families and the elderly. She assists clients to achieve their
goals through probate, estate planning, Medicaid planning, asset protection, wills, trusts, guardianships and conservatorships.

Melissa is a graduate of New York University and Washington and Lee University School of Law in Virginia. She is a member of the Oregon State Bar Elder Law and Estate Planning Sections.

She and her husband, Mark, have a son, Griffin, and a daughter, Lila.
