Sharon Smith has been practicing law in Oregon since 1986. She
has been with Bryant, Lovlien & Jarvis since 1991 and has
been a shareholder since 1995. Her areas of practice include:
land use, real estate, municipal and school law.
Sharon is an active member of the Oregon State Bar. She is past
chair of the Real Estate and Land Use Section. She is also a
member of the National School Boards Association, past president
of the Lane County Women Lawyers Association and past vice president
of Oregon Women Lawyers. Sharon is a board member on the J Bar J
Properties Board and past chair of Deschutes Children's Foundation.
Sharon earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology in
1983 and her Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Oregon
in 1986. She graduated from law school with honors (Order of
the Coif). She currently serves as a City of Bend Municipal Court
Judge, pro-tem, a position she has held since 1994.
