Professional Experience

Brent maintains a civil litigation practice representing individuals and businesses in a variety of matters, including business and real property litigation, employment disputes, and contested guardianships and conservatorships.  He also works closely with and advises employers, local governments, and individuals so they can accomplish their goals in a timely and practical manner. Brent has represented clients in 18 Oregon counties, including throughout Central, Eastern, and Southern Oregon.

Brent has practiced law in Bend since 2015 and joined Bryant, Lovlien & Jarvis in 2018.  Brent previously maintained a civil litigation practice in Southern Oregon and clerked for a state agency and a non-profit organization.  In law school, Brent served as a Fellow for the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics and as an extern for the Honorable Charles D. Carlson at the Lane County Circuit Court.

Brent cherishes exploring the majestic Pacific Northwest and spends his time away from the office running, hiking, skiing, cooking, and pursuing photography.  He also enjoys giving back to the community and is a member the board of directors for NeighborImpact, a local non-profit that provides critical services and programs across Central Oregon helping families and individuals achieve stable and secure futures.
