Professional Experience

Katie Clason focuses her practice on civil litigation and municipal law.  She regularly advises municipal entities on employment matters, public contracting, and navigating complex regulatory regimes.

Katie joined Bryant, Lovlien & Jarvis in 2018 after serving as a Deputy District Attorney in Deschutes County since 2011.  During her time as a Deputy District Attorney, Katie prosecuted violent crimes, traffic crimes, juvenile matters, and tried dozens of cases to juries.  She also led a multidisciplinary team tasked with ensuring the prompt investigation of elder abuse in Deschutes County.  During law school, Katie worked as a student attorney in the Environmental Law Clinic and received an award for excellence in writing while serving as a staff editor on the University of Denver Water Law Review. Katie also represents clients involved in business, property and construction disputes.
