BLJ civil litigation attorney Danielle Lordi recently teamed up with Legal Aid Services of Oregon to co-present to the Central Oregon Rental Owners Association on the topic of Assistance Animals in rental housing. As part of Danielle’s general civil litigation practice, she frequently advises property managers and landlords on all aspects of Oregon’s Residential Landlord Tenant Act and on federal and state Fair Housing and discrimination laws. Prior to entering private practice, Danielle spent four years representing tenants as a staff attorney for Legal Aid. As a result of this broad experience representing both landlords and tenants, she is a particularly knowledgeable and effective advocate for her landlord clients, providing guidance and, when necessary, representation in residential eviction proceedings. Danielle and Legal Aid will again co-present to COROA members next Tuesday evening, April 26, from 6:30 – 9:00 p.m., on the topic of Fair Housing.
